We Want To Come Cropping To Your House!

We are hitting the road and we want to come see you! What does that mean? Well one of three things.

1. Fly By- We just drop by and introduce ourselves and leave a free make and take for you and your friends.

2. Stay and Crop- We stay and crop. We bring a make and take, and another give and take. The give and take will be another make and take that you will make and LDSscrap will take and donate to charitable events in our community.

3. Custom Crop- Have a wedding coming up, baby blessing, or a missionary in the field? We will still bring a make and take but we will also set up a custom crop for you and your friends. We can make bridesmaids presents for the bride, or crank out 100 baby blessing announcements. We can do several kinds of missionary pages that will fit in one book.

What is required of you? Let us know where your crop is, when, and how many people will be attending. No crop to big or small, and if you are out of the area we will do a crop in the box*. The only other thing you have to do is...

1. Fly By- Is still just a fly by, no other requirements.

2. Stay and Crop- We will bring our lap top so people can browse our on-line store during the crop. All orders placed at the crop will be dropped back or mailed to you. No shipping charges**. We will also have prizes and special promotions just for your crop.

3. Custom Crop- We will do everything from the stay and crop and also do a custom project. This requires a custom price and it will be based on the amount of people and the project you choose. You will have final approval of your project, or you can create your own with our materials. You will be required to cover the cost of the goods for your project. We do offer discounts if it is an official activity for Young Women, Boy Scouts, or Enrichment.

Tasha and Lance's Story from Holey Sole

We asked Tasha to share her "how did you meet story."

"Lance and I met in July of 98, we were both waiting tables at the black Angus Steakhouse in Ft. Union. He was hired on number 77 and I was new hire 76. We were inseparable from the day we met. We got engaged on the beach in Ensenada Mexico in July of 99 and were married in September, on the 9 of 99! I'll never forget when Lance called my dad from a payphone in Mexico to ask for his daughter's hand. My dad replied,'are you sure you are ready to be married to Tasha?" LOL! I've always been known for being very independent and having a mind of my own and my dad wanted to make sure Lance knew what he was getting himself into!"

We waited for our Missionary ....twice.

I met my husband JP, in high school. Besides a few "I am bored want ot go do something" dates, we did not date. We did spend a lot of time together singing in the choir and hanging out with a specific group of guys. He was one of my best friends. Shortly before our graduation I had a 'a-ha moment" when I realized that he was the boy for me. However I realized that if I shared this "a-ha moment" he would go running. So I played it cool...kind of (but that is a different story).

Besides he was moving to Atlanta, GA. with his family and had a mission to serve. He was called to the Sacramento Spanish speaking mission and later split into the Roseville Mission. We wrote faithfully. He said he liked my letters because I was always interested in the work he was doing. Half way through his mission I got engaged. I knew from day one that it wasn't right, he was a great guy, but something was just wrong. I felt confused and trapped. I received my Patriartichal Blessing shortly after that and it said "the Lord desires you serve a mission." Engagement off, mission on. Which was fine with me, I always wanted to go. I am a fourth generation Sister Missionary. All the missionary stories in my home came from Sisters.

JP came home two weeks before I left for the Columbus, Ohio Mission. We talked about marriage, I worried that he would not wait. But I knew that I had to serve, and I am so grateful I did. I learned so much there that I could not have learned anywhere else. JP did not wait...at least not faithfully. My letters dropped off in the fall and for Christmas I received the news, with a twist. He had gotten engaged, to a nice girl, but the wrong girl. The girl for him was serving a mission.

He moved back to Salt Lake the following October, I came home in November, and we were married in April. I am so glad to be married to him! But I am even more grateful we have our mission experiences to shar
